We started growing & selling vegetables from our house in the Cotswold neighborhood of Charlotte in 2007 (that's the picture above, taken from our roof) . In 2010 we purchased our current 2.7 acre property on Charlotte's West Side, just 6 miles from Uptown, from the Wilkerson family, who'd lived here since 1952. Located across the street from the largest Coca Cola bottler in the US, we are one of the only "bona fide" farms operating in the City of Charlotte. Located in a "food desert", we are proud to accept SNAP at our Farmstand and for our CSAs.
We offer two seasons of CSAs, we wholesale to the foodhub, Freshlist who, in turn offers our products to restaurants & retail customers, and we run a Saturday Farm Stand from May-December. We farm on three acres of land and have about 40 chickens. We also have eleven beehives, which are owned and maintained by our friend Jesse, who owns Bizzy Bee. This article from Eater Carolinas by Stephanie Burt tells our story the best.

Writer and podcaster Stephanie Burt came to the Farm for a dinner we held in the summer of 2022. She then graciously interviewed Kim on her terrific podcast, The Southern Fork, it was so much fun - as soon as she finished recording I was ready to do it again!
